Practical experience since 1996 in oncological surgery, clinical oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery.
The main areas of work of Valery Cheshuk are the complex treatment of patients with breast cancer, skin melanoma, soft tissue sarcoma, he owns methods of reconstructive and reconstructive and plastic surgery for breast pathology, skin tumors and soft tissues.
2004 — doctoral dissertation on the topic “Individualization of complex treatment of patients with breast cancer of stages I-II”.
Professor of the Department of Oncology of the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv.

Regularly improves his professional level by participating in scientific congresses, conferences, forums (St. Gallen 2005, 2021, Istanbul 2006, 2018, Munich 2008, 2010, Madrid 2009, Vienna 2016, Düsseldorf 2018, 2021, 2024, Berlin 2022, 2023, Antwerp 2024).
Actively participates in innovative international clinical trials on the treatment of breast cancer, melanoma, lung cancer, as a principal investigator.
