When You Should Schedule an Appointment With This Doctor

Dr. Volodymyr Avilov consults patients with musculoskeletal disorders and the consequences of injuries, helping identify the causes of pain, joint dysfunction, and deformities, while developing an evidence-based conservative or surgical treatment strategy.

  • You have foot pain or deformity that makes walking or choosing footwear difficult
  • You have developed pain, restricted movement, or reduced hand function
  • You have pain in your hip, knee, or another major joint
  • You need to determine whether surgical treatment or joint replacement is necessary
  • You need a consultation after an injury or surgery, or to plan your rehabilitation
  • You need help interpreting the results of X-rays, MRI, CT scans, or other examinations
  • You need to determine the most appropriate treatment strategy for disorders of the foot, hand, or joints
  • You would like a second opinion before undergoing orthopaedic surgery

Why Patients Choose Dr. Volodymyr Avilov

With many years of clinical experience, Dr. Volodymyr Avilov takes a comprehensive approach to evaluating foot biomechanics, hand function, and the condition of major joints, focusing not only on pain relief but also on restoring full limb function. This approach is particularly important in the treatment of foot deformities, hand disorders, and degenerative joint diseases, where successful long-term outcomes largely depend on selecting the most appropriate treatment method.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Avilov follows the principle of choosing the most well-founded treatment strategy. Whenever a condition can be effectively managed with conservative methods, he recommends that approach. When surgery is genuinely indicated, patients receive a clear explanation of the goals of the procedure, the expected outcome, and the key aspects of postoperative recovery.
